Rasmussen: Obama leads by 13

New Rasmussen Reports numbers show Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama leading by 13 points in the state, ahead of Republican John McCain.

The 56 to 43 percent margin is a considerable increase over their findings on Oct. 2, which had Obama leading by five points.

Rasmussen: Collins expands lead

U.S. Sen. Susan Collins (R-Bangor) has expanded her lead over U.S. Rep. Tom Allen (D-Portland) in the final days of the election, according to Rasmussen Reports.

Collins leads Allen 57 percent to 41 percent. Last month, the same poll showed the race narrowing, with Collins leading 53 percent to 43 percent.

Rassmussen: Collins up by 13 points

The latest from Rasmussen Reports has U.S. Sen. Susan Collins (R-Bangor) leading challenger and U.S. Rep. Tom Allen (D-Portland) 55 to 42 percent, a gap of 13 points.

Collins’ lead is down from polls released last month, where she held a 15 point lead. The polling firm gives Collins an 80 percent chance of winning reelection.

Rasmussen: Collins’ lead doubles

U.S. Sen. Susan Collins (R-Bangor) is leading her opponent U.S. Rep. Tom Allen (D-Portland) 53 percent to 38 percent, according to the latest Rasmussen Reports poll. With “leaners”, Collins has a 55 percent to 40 percent advantage.

Last month, the reports showed Collins with a 49 percent to 42 percent advantage.
