Dean Scontras, who lost the primary for the Republican nomination in the 1st Congressional District, has returned, starting up a Political Action Committee with emphasis on traditional Republican principles.

Scontras, who during his campaign routinely pegged himself as a “Reagan Republican,” told to Portland Press Herald that this involves a commitment to fiscal conservatism, national security and social conservatism.
