The Talent Machine to Perform "The Wiz"

It has been my pleasure to promote Annapolis High School's Panther Productions and I am again pleased to promote another one of our great local institutions, The Talent Machine, which will be performing The Wiz from July 17-26 at St. John's College Key Auditorium. Tickets are thankfully affordable at only $10 and $8.  They also have summer camps for kids and will be performing  Suessical The Musical in August.
The mission of the Talent Machine Co. is to give young people the opportunity to study the performing arts, to present their product publicly in a community setting, to teach as well as to learn, and to serve as positive role models for their peers.

Remember the CBO warning that Obama’s plan was worse than doing nothing? They were right!

The Sun likes Obama’s Coporatism, Just Don’t Point it Out

From Red Maryland
There has been an interesting convergence of what appeared to be separate arguments and issues involving the Sun editorial page and Second Opinion blog.

WIND ENERGY AT GREENBURY POINT

WIND ENERGY AT GREENBURY POINT

Delegate Ron George is giving Annapolis Green an update on his proposal for wind energy at Greenbury Point.

"Everything is moving forward very smoothly. However it is a slow process as the Navy has a method that needs to be adhered to" said Delegate George. With most of the research steps done for the project, the process now turns to the formal testing of the wind for 6 months to a year as required by the Navy. However, other steps can proceed after we have just 3 months of official readings.

He joins Castro and Chavez in criticizing the overthrow of looming dictatorship in Honduras!
