No spotlight on Maryland tonight

If you're watching the Democratic National Convention either on C-SPAN or online, you won't see any of Maryland's politicians speaking tonight.

Instead, chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and U.S. Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-Kensington), House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Mechanicsville), and U.S. Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-Baltimore) are all scheduled to speak on Tuesday.

U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Baltimore) will address the convention on Wednesday night.

Juan Melli can be reached via email at noreply@politicker.com.
