Peck: 60 years of conventions
By Danny Reiter, PolitickerMD.com ReporterST. PAUL, Minn. - It's hard for Delphine Peck to get bored at national conventions, even though she has been attending them since 1948.
Peck - an alternate delegate -- pointed to Gov. Linda Lingle (R-Hawaii) as one speaker she found exciting at this years Republican National Convention.
She "really laid out the qualifications for Sarah Palin," said Peck. "Then of course Giuliani had wonderful lines."
Peck couldn't help but give a shout out to the delegations hometown hero: "Michael Steele gave a wonderful talk."
