Lt. Gov. awarded role in Obama transition
By Danny Reiter, PolitickerMD.com ReporterLt. Gov. Anthony Brown (D-Prince George's County) has landed a job in President-elect Barack Obama's transition efforts.
Brown will be one of two co-chairs of the Agency Review Team for the Department of Veterans Affairs, according to Mike Raia, Brown's press secretary.
Brown is now the second Marylander to land a job with the transition team. Maryland Labor Secretary Tom Perez is a member of the Obama Transition Project's Agency Review Working Group.
