ClintonOMalley.com and more domain name fun

Earlier this week, the New York Times reported that the Republican National Committee has been registering dozens of internet domain names based on the Democratic presidential candidates and their possible runningmates.

One such name, registered Nov. 21, 2007: www.ClintonOMalley.com.

Nothing there when you click it, but it sparked our interest – what other domain names are out there for the taking?

The next most obvious Maryland ticket, www.McCainSteele.com, was just registered on Feb. 7, while www.ObamaOMalley.com was registered literally hours ago on Mar. 5.

And though www.McCainEhrlich.com has not been registered, www.GiulianiEhrlich.com was on Sept. 14, 2007.

As for Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown, www.ClintonBrown.com has been registered, though it’s home to the California financial consulting firm of the same name.

In the more unlikely realms, none of the surnames of Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, DCCC Chair Chris Van Hollen or former Lt. Gov. Kathleen Kennedy Townsend have been registered as a presidential ticket with either Clinton or Obama.
