DCCC airdrops into Maryland

WASHINGTON - The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is providing a financial lift to Frank Kratovil in Maryland's 1st Congressional District.

The committee has reserved over $1 million in airtime in the district between now and Election Day in the contest between state's attorney Kratovil and Republican state Sen. Andy Harris, according to a DCCC spokeswoman. The committee went on the air today with a $168,000 media buy.

Blue Dogs to fete Kratovil

WASHINGTON – Maryland congressional candidate Frank Kratovil is set to be feted by the House Blue Dog Democratic coalition this evening in a Capitol Hill fundraising event benefiting the state attorney’s 1st Congressional District campaign.

The event, co-hosted by U.S. Reps. Allen Boyd (D-Fla.), Dennis Cardoza (D-Calif.), Lincoln Davis (D-Tenn.), and John Tanner (D-Tenn.), will take place at the Graefe Townhouse. A Kratovil spokesperson did not specify how much the event was expected to raise.
