Leading Maryland Blog Reviewer States CP's "numbers should stay strong."

An interesting post by the blog Maryland-Politics (Adam Pagnucco) looks at trends in Maryland political blogging and notes how Capital Punishment is becoming more and more popular. At the same time, conservative blogs are declining. CP is profiled as follows:

"From our dataset on 38 statistics-releasing Maryland blogs, here are three that are on the way up as well as a category of them that is stalled....Not so long ago, Paul Foer was known as 'PMF' on the liberal blog Free State Politics, where he was a frequent target of Red Maryland’s conservatives. Well, Foer is getting the last laugh. His Annapolis Capital Punishment blog, which follows Annapolis city politics in minute detail, beat the statewide Red Maryland in site visits for the first time in May.

CP to City Hall Officials: You Can Take This Blog and Love It!

It has come to our attention at Annapolis Capital Punishment that false information is being circulated from City Hall. Annapolis Capital Punishment officials request that City Hall officials base their conversations on fact. This message has not been paid for with any of your hard-earned tax dollars...darn it. I sure wish I could find a way to make you pay for it....maybe I could just annex another blog and steal their revenue....nahh..no bloggers make any money at this...if only we could be like the fed'ral gummint and print money....or like the local gummint and just tax and spend....oops....I am sorry City Hall....did I just spread some misinformation???

Oh Nine Online for May 7; Web-site Ratings for The Mayoral Candidates

We can add Republican Frank Flyntz to the list of mayoral candidates who have filed, which is to say McFall and Cordle. Flyntz has told me that his campaign treasurer is Terra McCann....On April 17th I first gave subjective ratings of the mayoral candidate's web-sites based on having regularly observed them since they've been up. I continue to monitor their sites. I don't provide the site addresses, but if you wish to visit them, click on the ads of the candidates who are supporting me in my effort to promote each every campaign. Clicks or impressions do not in any way increase revenue as ads are on a flat monthly rate.

Oh Nine On Line for May 6

Reminder...Tomorrow's Sip N' Blog will feature Independent Mayoral Candidate Chris Fox at the Boatyard Market on Fourth Street in the lovely MRE. Fox is soliciting signatures to get on the ballot and will officially announce his candidacy on Saturday....If that does not interest you, try Dave Cordle's fundraiser at the same time, but a block away at The Rockfish....So far we have hosted mayoral wannabe's Cordle, McFall, Cohen, Pierre, Renaut, Taylor, Shropshire as well as aldermanic hopefuls Bowling and Stiverson. We'll get Ward Seven's Ian Pfeiffer up soon and if we ever can find Six's Kirby Kenny or ostensible mayoral candidate Frank Flyntz, we'd be glad to host them as well (Actually, we had Flyntz visit Sip N' Blog last summer when he made his supposed original campaign announcement, and we have tried to contact him repeatedly but he is playing hard to get.
