CLINTON BOOSTS NORTH KOREA

By Dick Morris
Was it only a week ago this past Sunday that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called the North Koreans “unruly children” on Meet the Press and said all they wanted was attention and that “we shouldn’t give it to them?”
Yes, that was her, the wife of the very same Bill Clinton who gave [...]

Prime Minister Netanyahu’s Speech

By Barry Rubin
In a much-awaited speech about his new government’s foreign policy, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu explained Israel’s situation, experience, and views. Other countries, especially those which think they have all the answers for making peace, should pay close attention. They might actually learn something.
In a recent interview, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stated:
“We do [...]

Wheels In Motion

Last week, local political operative and FOE and FOJ (Friend of Josh) Kathy Nieberding sent out a news release about Alderman Sheila Finlayson's announcement for re-election (making here an FOS). Nieberding, a close supporter of and fundraiser for Ellen O Moyer is also running Josh Cohen's campaign. A day or two later, another Cohen operative, Judd Legum (formerly of the Hillary Clinton campaign and now a candidate for District 30 delegate) sent out a news release for Cohen stating that Finlayson and also former Ward 7 Republican Alderman Mike Fox now endorse Cohen for mayor. Wheels in motion.

Why is a Democratic Alderwoman endorsing another Democrat before the primary--and so early? Why is a former alderman, who happens to be a county planner and a Republican, endorsing a Democratic candidate? A case can be made without much argument that Finlayson and Cohen have been among the closest supporters of Ellen Moyer, and Finlayson just voted against the city manager amendment, for the mayoral pay increase and for the mayor's hyper-budget.

THE INCREDIBLE SHRINKING CLINTONS

By Dick Morris
Asked why he was naming some of his rivals to top administration jobs, President Lyndon B. Johnson said it best: “I’d rather have them inside the tent pissing out than outside pissing in.” President Obama seems to echo Johnson’s management style in his handling of Bill and Hillary Clinton. By bringing them into [...]

Oh Nine On Line for May 20--Doyel Considers Challenge to Arnett in Ward Eight--What Role Did Cohen and Weikel Have?

Why were Chuck Weikel and Josh Cohen assisting a potentially Republican challenger to one and perhaps two incumbent Democrats? But first this....Ginger Doyel, a noted artist and historian may become the Republican challenger to incumbent Democrat Ross Arnett in Ward Eight. Doyel, 29, had been living in Ward One and was widely rumored to be a possible candidate for Alderman Dick Israel's seat when he was considering a run for mayor. When Israel decided to hold his seat, Doyel and her potential courters lost interest. She then moved away for business and personal reasons. She decided to live in Ward Eight upon her return, both because of her political interests and because of her affinity for Eastport stemming from her book Over the Bridge A History of Eastport at Annapolis published last year.

Obama Administration Withdraws Proposed Concessions to Hamas

By Barry Rubin
This has become a very interesting situation. On May 1, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, in congressional testimony, reinterpreted the proposal discussed below to make it clear that the United States did not embrace the proposal (earlier raised by the French) to back a PA coalition with Hamas. She said that every individual [...]

A CRISIS OBAMA WON’T WASTE

By Dick Morris
This economic crisis is too useful for Obama to want it to end. When Rahm Emanuel — and later Hillary Clinton — spoke of never letting a good crisis “go to waste,” many people were shocked. But now Obama seems to embody the corollary: that the crisis should continue until he has thoroughly [...]

Our Fearless Leaders Know Not What They Say Or Do!!!

by Regina Sztajer
President Barack Obama is attending the G-20 meeting in England this week. It is his first European tour since his election. Both Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton diplomatically leave much to be desired. Obama arrived to anti-globalism protests on the streets of London and they weren’t protesting [...]

Obama Drama

Last year, President Barack Obama ran the closest thing to a perfect campaign ever seen in this country.  There was no senior level turnover during the campaign.  There was no public feuding from various factions within his campaign (unlike Hillary Clinton’s).  Even the transition was extraordinarily smooth.
So, I am dumbfounded by [...]
