The Turning of the Tide...

The opening night of the Heartland International Conference on Climate Change was inspiring, if for only one reason: the tide is turning against global warming alarmism. Public opinion is shifting and not only Americans, but others around the world are coming to realize what noted skeptic, MIT Professor of Meteorology Richard Lindzen said in his keynote address, “We are right, and they are wrong!”

Lindzen’s remarks reminded me of Reagan’s quip to Richard Allen about Cold War policy towards the Soviets, “We win, they lose.”

The other keynote speaker Vaclav Klaus, President of the Czech Republic summed up global warming alarmism in three words “it’s an ideology.

Greenip: Keep slots and 'highway 95' out of Maryland's constitution

Pelura calls Ready the ‘right fit’ as GOP Executive Director

Jim Pelura, the chairman of the Maryland Republican Party, said Justin Ready, the chief of staff to state Sen. Janet Greeinp (R-Crofton), was the "right fit" to become the new executive director of the state party. This morning, Pelura announced that Ready had been selected to replace John Flynn.

"I rely on my first impression," Pelura said of his decision. "All the candidates were well qualified, but Justin is the right one."

Greenip fundraises in Annapolis
