Glendening's son tapped by DGA for 2010 re-districting

Former Gov. Parris Glendening's son, Raymond, was named the national political director of the Democratic Governor's Association on Thursday.

"I am honored to serve America's Democratic Governors and future Democratic Governors," Raymond Glendening said in a statement. "Our candidates are winning in every corner of the country because they share with voters common-sense values and know how to get results. We had many successes this year, and I am looking forward to helping the DGA continue its winning streak."

Glendening says Democrats should hit McCain even harder

DENVER – Former Gov. Parris Glendening (D) says Democratic speakers at the convention didn’t hit presumptive Republican presidential nominee John McCain as hard as they should have.

“Personally I would have like to seen even harder,” he told PolitickerMD.com.

He added, however, that Monday’s speakers weren’t the right people to be taking the shots. Instead, he pointed to Sen. Joe Biden (D-Del.), Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) and former president Bill Clinton as the best figures to throw the punches.

Glendening: Obama will provide ‘fundamental change’

Younger Glendening will likely stay behind the scenes

Glendening won't endorse before Feb. 12 primary, but pushes Richardson for VP

Former Governor Parris Glendening, who had been supporting Bill Richardson for President, says he won’t endorse any of the remaining contenders before the February 12 Maryland primary.
