[img_assist|nid=202|title=Mihos in 2010?|desc=Campaign Photo|link=none|align=right|width=210|height=95]Last night, convenience store magnate Christy Mihos indicated that he is strongly considering another independent run for the corner office in 2010, the Boston Herald reports.

“It is just going to the dogs the way this current administration is going,” Mihos told state Sen. Bob Hedlund on his WATD radio show. “It looks like I’m going to run for governor.”

Mihos poured millions of dollars into his 2006 bid and received nearly 7% of the vote in the general election, finishing far behind the Democratic victor Deval Patrick and Republican Kerry Healey.

The Herald reports that he also announced the launch of www.Christy2010.com. The site is live and though it only redirects to Mihos’ 2006 campaign web content, it is offering “Don’t Blame me, I voted for Christy” bumperstickers.

As of June 15, Mihos had roughly $1,200 in his campaign account, which was still reimbursing 2006 expenditures as late as last month.
