John Kerry (D-Boston)|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=180|height=169]fundraiser in Boston Monday night, PolitickerMA.com has learned.
Obama is scheduled to appear at a fundraiser at the State Room at 60 State Street in Boston Monday for a high-priced fundraiser. Monday is also Obama's 47th birthday.
Brigid O'Rourke, a spokeswoman for Kerry, told PolitickerMA.com that Kerry, one of the Democratic Party's most effective fundraisers, will be joining Obama at the event. The 2004 Democratic nominee is facing a primary challenge from Gloucester attorney Ed O'Reilly and a general election challenge from former FBI and CIA agent Jeff Beatty (R). Kerry is leading in polls for both races and is on campaign swing through the state this week, spending Monday morning campaigning in North Adams before heading to Boston this evening.
