McCormic supports Question 1, Rosenberg opposes

Republican state Senate challenger Keith McCormic supports Question 1, the ballot measure that would abolish the state income tax, according to a news report.

McCormic, of Greenfield, is challenging state Sen. Stanley Rosenberg in the Hampshire and Franklin state Senate district.

According to a report in the Daily Hampshire Gazette (sub. req.), McCormic spoke in support of the measure at the Question 1 rally last Saturday at Faneuil Hall.

"If you have any decency, any warmth in your heart, any shred of human kindness left in your soul, vote yes on Question 1," McCormic said, according to the report.

Rosenberg, an Amherst Democrat, opposes the measure.
