Suffolk: Kerry leads Beatty by 37

With just 11 days until the election, a recent Suffolk University/7News poll shows U.S. Sen. John Kerry with a substantial lead over Republican challenger Jeff Beatty.

Kerry, a Boston Democrat, leads Beatty 56 percent to 19 percent in the poll, which was conducted Monday through Wednesday this week.

Libertarian candidate Robert Underwood garnered 6 percent in the poll and 18 percent said they were undecided.

There was a 4.9 percent margin of error in the poll.
