Women’s caucus staying out of Wilkerson/Chang-Diaz race

The Massachusetts Women's Political Caucus, a group the endorsed state Sen. Dianne Wilkerson in her Democratic primary against Sonia Chang-Diaz, is not endorsing either candidate in their general election match-up.

Sheila Capone-Wulsin, the caucus' executive director, told PolitickerMA.com that her organization has opted to stay out of the race.

With the Massachusetts Women's Political Caucus' decision, a plurality of Wilkerson's primary endorsers have decided to stay out of the general election race, according to PolitickerMA.com's tally. Nearly as many have switched to backing Chang-Diaz, however.
