Bech launches first TV ad, emphasizing ‘change’ message

Nathan Bech, the West Springfield Republican challenging Congressman John Olver, launched the first of two ads Tuesday.

The ad stresses change, a common message in this year's election cycle.

"I've been a small business owner and I've proudly served my country in the US Army," Bech says. "Now, I'm running for Congress because it's time we had someone in Washington who represents us. Families are hurting and times are tough. I want to stimulate our economy and develop real energy solutions. We've had 17 years of the same Washington establishment; we cannot continue to go down this road.  Send real change to Washington."

The Bech campaign declined to comment on the size of the ad buy but said that the commercial is running on cable networks in the district.
