30 percent of registered Boston voters cast ballot by noon

Nearly 30 percent of all registered voters in Boston had cast their ballot by noon Tuesday, according to sources inside City Hall.

According to the city's tabulation, 29.7 percent of registered voters had voted by noon. By 9 a.m. Tuesday morning, 16.9 percent of all registered Boston voters had visited the voting booths.
