Patrick: I have no interest in going to Washington

With his trip to Chicago Tuesday night adding fuel to speculation he is eyeing a position in an Obama administration, Gov. Deval Patrick again dismissed that notion on Tuesday.

"I'm not going anywhere," Patrick said at an Obama phone bank, according to the Boston Herald. "I'm very excited about remaining as governor in Massachusetts. . .I have no intentions or interest, frankly, in going to Washington. I have the job I've always wanted, and on my hardest days it's still the job I've always wanted."
