Seventy Massachusetts residents have contributed to President-elect Barack Obama's transition organization, according to the list of donors the Obama-Biden Transition Project released on Monday.
Obama, an Illinois Democrat, has raised more than $1.17 million during his transition through Nov. 15. Nearly 1,800 individuals have contributed.
The contributions from the 70 Massachusetts residents range from $25 to $5,000, the legal maximum. Seven of the 70 contributors gave $5,000, including Alan Solomont, Obama's New England finance chair during his campaign.
The others were: Paul Egerman, CEO of eScription; Arnold Hiatt, former CEO of the Stride Rite Foundation; Scott Nathan, an investment manager; Todd Park, a co-founder of Athenahealth; Gabor Garai, a Newton attorney and Laura Debonis, whose occupation wasn't disclosed.
