Officials slated to speak at pike hike rally Wednesday

A few elected officials are slated to speak at a rally opposing increases in Pike tolls on Wednesday, the Metrowest Daily News reports.

The "Stop the Pike Hike" rally is scheduled for Wednesday before the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority holds a public hearing on the tolls in Framingham.

The officials that are scheduled to speak in opposition to the hikes include Turnpike Authority Board member Mary Connaughton, state Sen. Scott Brown (R-Wrentham), state Sen. Karen Spilka (D-Ashland) and Framingham Selectman Chairman Jason Smith.
