Kerry camp responds, hits Beatty for not offering solutions

U.S. Sen. John Kerry responded to Republican challenger Jeff Beatty's criticism Sunday, blasting Beatty for not offering a vision for the future of the country.

In an email to PolitickerMA.com, Brigid O'Rourke, a spokeswoman for the Boston Democrat, said Beatty has focused more on personal attacks than on offering his own policy proposals.

Kerry camp responds, blasts Thompson robo-call

Responding to news that challenger Jeff Beatty is using a robo-call featuring former Sen. Fred Thompson, U.S. Sen. John Kerry's campaign blasted the effort saying that Thompson's policy positions, like Beatty's, do not mesh with those of the voters of Massachusetts.

Beatty fires away at Kerry, Kerry camp parries

BROCKTON - Republican U.S. Senate candidate Jeff Beatty fired three salvos at John Kerry Sunday, saying the Massachusetts senator has high disapproval ratings, a poor record on constituent services and is more focused on campaigning on behalf of Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama than he is focused on serving Massachusetts citizens. Kerry camp responds, says Beatty uses misleading numbers in ad

Responding to Republican Jeff Beatty's first television ad, John Kerry's U.S. Senate re-election campaign said Wednesday that the TV spot uses figures that don't take inflation into account, and blasted Beatty's party for poor stewardship of the economy.

Beatty's first ad, released Wednesday, is set to hit airwaves Thursday. In it, the Beatty campaign criticizes the Boston lawmaker for rising gas prices, which were lower when Kerry was first elected in 1984.
