From Obama to State House campaigns, grassroots carried the day, Murray says

BOSTON - Lt. Gov. Tim Murray said late Tuesday night that election results from the presidential race down to state House of Representatives races illustrate the power of grassroots organizing.

Patrick campaigning for Orozco, Bowles

UPDATED: Gov. Deval Patrick will campaign Wednesday with Democratic state Senate candidate Sara Orozco and Democratic state House candidate Bill Bowles in Attleboro, according to the Orozco campaign.

Patrick, a Milton Democrat, is joining the two candidates for coffee at Jaec's Café in Attleboro.

Orozco, of Needham, is challenging Republican state Sen. Scott Brown this year. Bowles, of Attleboro, is running against Republican George Ross for Republican state Rep. John Lepper's 2nd Bristol House seat.
