Strategists: Patrick’s approval rating tied to the economy

Two prominent political analysts say Gov. Deval Patrick's approval numbers have headed south in conjunction with the economy's deterioration.

A SurveyUSA/WBZ-TV poll released this week showed that 50 percent of those surveyed disapprove of the job Patrick, a Milton Democrat, is doing, while 45 percent approved.
