Romney in Nevada for McCain campaign tonight

Mitt Romney, a frequent surrogate for John McCain’s presidential campaign, will be in Elko, Nev., Thursday night leading a pre-debate rally for the McCain campaign, according to a spokesman for the former governor.

Asked of Romney would be in the spin room tonight following the vice presidential debate between Republican Sarah Palin and Democrat Joe Biden, Eric Fehrnstrom, a spokesman for Romney, said the McCain campaign asked the Belmont Republican to lead the rally in Elko so that is where he will be.
