Wilkerson responds to false endorsement charge, points to new website

Dianne Wilkerson's campaign responded on Wednesday to charges that her campaign website still listed endorsements she has lost since Sonia Chang-Diaz beat her in the Democratic primary, saying the website was only for the primary and pointing to a new general election website.

The old website also no longer works.

Wilkerson offers no comment on recount, Independent run

Dianne Wilkerson's re-election campaign offered no comment late Wednesday regarding whether state senator would seek a recount or seek to defend her seat as a write-in Independent candidate in November.

Wilkerson, a Boston Democrat, lost her re-election bid to repeat Jamaica Plain challenger Sonia Chang-Diaz on Tuesday by 228 votes.
