Hillary Clinton to fundraise in Boston Friday

Hillary Clinton will be in Boston later this week for a fundraiser to help retire her campaign debt.

According to an invitation obtained by PolitickerMA.com Tuesday morning, the fundraiser will take place Friday at 6:30 p.m. at the Liberty Hotel at 215 Charles St. in Boston. All funds raised at the event will be used to pay down Clinton's campaign debt.

Franken to fundraise in Mass.

[img_assist|nid=736|title=Al Franken (D-Minn.)|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=172|height=200]Al Franken, the former "Saturday Night Live" star and current Democratic Senate candidate in Minnesota, is scheduled to attend a fundraiser in Massachusetts in the middle of September, PolitickerMA.com has learned.

The location of the Sept. 18 event is still unknown, said Shanti Fry, the Democratic fundraiser who is hosting the event. The event will be co-hosted by Steven Grossman, a former chairman of the Democratic National Committee.
