RGJ obtains Gibbons’ cell phone, text message records
By Joseph K. CooperLAS VEGAS-Annjeanette Damon of the Reno Gazette-Journal is reporting that Gov. Jim Gibbons used his state-owned cell phone to send more than 850 text messages in one month last year to the woman with whom he has been accused of having an affair.

Gibbons, whose divorce proceedings with Nevada First Lady Dawn Gibbons were put on hold yesterday, has denied having an affair with the recipient of the text messages, Kathy Karrasch, the estranged wife of a Reno-based doctor.
