LVRJ: Romney coming to Silver State for McCain

The Las Vegas Review Journal is reporting that former Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney is coming to Nevada to stump for presumptive Republican presidential nominee John McCain.

The paper says Romney -- a former McCain rival during the Republican primary -- is scheduled to hold a rally for the Arizona senator at Henderson Pavilion next Wednesday before hosting a fundraising dinner for the state Republican Party.

MSNBC: Romney to endorse McCain

Former Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney, winner of the Nevada GOP caucuses, will endorse Ariz. Sen. John McCain for their party's presidential nomination today, according to NBC News.

The endorsement will reportedly be made in just more than two hours at Romney campaign headquarters in Boston.  McCain is expected to attend.

Clinton, Romney take Nevada wins

Las Vegas- With over 90 percent of precincts reporting on both sides, Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) and former Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney have won their parties respective Nevada caucuses today. 

On the Democratic side, Clinton defeated Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) by a strong margin of 51 to 45 percent.  Former N.C. Sen. John Edwards received four percent of precinct delegates.

NBC projects Romney wins Nevada

NBC has projected that former Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney has won the Nevada Republican caucuses.

The projection came before any official results were released by the Nevada Republican Party.
