Manchester Republican State Senator Ted Gatsas is the number one target for the Manchester Democrats.

"In the last election, he lost every ward in Manchester and barely survived," said Chris Pappas, Chairman of the Manchester Democrats.

When asked if Gatsas is the Democrats number one target in the fall, Pappas said "absolutely."

Pappas added that Gatsas "is out of step with the voters."

The Manchester Democrats will also continue to press Manchester Mayor Frank Guinta. Guinta is contemplating a run for governor.

"He doesn't have the record to be even considering running for an office like Governor," Pappas said.

Building off of the enthusiasm from the presidential primary, Pappas said the city Democrats hope to tap into that energy for the fall.

"There's a lot of enthusiasm for Democratic candidates and we hope to tap into that enthusiasm."
