Carson to run for Clegg seat

State Rep. Sharon Carson (R-Londonderry) is running for the State Senate seat being vacated by Bob Clegg (R-Hudson).

Carson made a formal announcement on February 14th and recently formed a political action committee titled, "Friends of Sharon Carson."

The current budget crisis will be a vocal point of Carson's campaign.

"I'm very concerned how New Hampshire will weather this crisis," Carson said. "Tough decisions are not being made. We need people to stand-up and say ‘stop, no more."

Carson is currently organizing campaign committees and meeting voters.

"When I file in June, I will be able to hit the ground running."

Clegg is running for the Second Congressional seat.

State Senate District Fourteen covers the towns of Auburn, Hudson and Londonderry.
