Former New Hampshire Republican Chairman, and Rudy Giuliani's state Chairman, Wayne Semprini has endorsed First Congressional District candidate John Stephen (R-Manchester).

Semprini said Stephen is the best candidate to defeat Congressman Carol Shea-Porter (D-Rochester).

"I think that first and foremost John stands the best chance in getting the seat back," Semprini said. "He's shown in the way that he managed the Department of Health and Human Services and he understands personal responsibility and that it takes out-of-the-box thinking to reduce spending."

Semprini's endorsement will be announced tomorrow in a press release.

Stephen is competing in the Republican primary against former Congressman Jeb Bradley (R-Wolfeboro).
