Clegg first featured candidate for new Huckabee PAC

Former Arkansas Governor, and Republican presidential candidate, Mike Huckabee has started a new political action committee called "Huck PAC."

"Huck PAC is founded on the principles that make America great: Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness," the PAC's website states. "We will identify candidates who hold firm to these principles, promote their campaigns and financially support their efforts."

The first candidate Huckabee is supporting is State Senator Bob Clegg (R-Hudson).

During the New Hampshire primary, Clegg co-chaired Huckabee's campaign.

"When Bob Clegg is elected to Congress, he will take the same no-nonsense style and effective leadership to Washington that he has shown in Concord," Huckabee said in a statement. "He has been one of the most respected, effective, and sometimes even feared legislators in New Hampshire.  He will go to Congress for all the right reasons!"

Clegg is running in the Second Congressional District Republican primary against Jennifer Horn, Jim Steiner and Grant Bosse.

The PAC's website allows visitors to donate to Clegg, volunteer for his campaign or join his Facebook group.
