U.S. Rep. Paul Hodes (D-Concord) will testify tomorrow before a congressional committee that is investigating the jamming of Democratic Party phone lines during the 2002 election cycle.

Phone lines used by the Democratic get-out-the-vote effort were jammed by the company GOP Marketplace. The investigation led to the conviction of former state Republican Executive Director Chuck McGee and Allen Raymond, president of GOP Marketplace.

Hodes will testify before the Joint House Judiciary subcommittees on Commercial and Administration Law and Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security at the Rayburn House Office Building.

UPDATE: "The Congressman was invited to testify by the Judiciary Committee," Mark Bergman, Hodes Communications Director, said. "He is going to testify about the unanswered questions regarding the phone jamming scandal including the White House’s involvement and the DoJ’s delay in prosecution of the conspirators."
