Lynch to sign ‘Granny D’ bill

New Hampshire Governor John Lynch (D-Hopkinton) will sign the "Granny D" bill on Friday.

The bill creates a commission to study the feasibility of publicly funding state campaigns and is named after Doris "Granny D" Haddock who traveled across the country in 1999 advocating for public financing of elections.

The signing ceremony will take place at the Executive Council Chamber at 1:00pm in the State House.
