Merrill to run for state Senate
By Brian Lawson, PolitickerNH.com ReporterAmanda "Mandy" Merrill has decided to run for the state Senate, three sources tell PolitickerNH.com.
Merrill will be running for the office being vacated by state Sen. Iris Estabrook (D-Durham). Estabrook will support Merrill's candidacy.
Merrill is currently a policy advisor for the majority office in the House.
Update: "Yes, as you've heard earlier today, I do intend to run for the Senate District 21 seat and will issue an announcement soon," Merrill said in an e-mail.
