Bosse unveils energy plan

Congressional candidate Grant Bosse (R-Hillsboro) has unveiled a ten-point energy plan.[img_assist|nid=1679|title=Grant Bosse (R-Hillsboro)|desc=|link=none|align=right|width=200|height=150]

Bosse also announced his Energy and Environmental Council, which will be led by New England Wood Pellet founder Steve Walker and former state Sen. Jim Rubens.

"For the American economy to recover in the short-term, and prosper long-term, we need to find a better way of getting the energy we need to power economic growth," Bosse said in a statement.

Among his ten points, Bosse would end ethanol subsidies and mandates, provide tax breaks for renewable energy sources, end subsidies for fossil fuel development, increase access to domestic energy reserves and would streamline requirements for new oil refineries.

"The next generation of billionaires will come from the energy sector.  Entrepreneurs and investors who find new ways to power the American and global economies will be richly rewarded.  But first, Congress must get out of the way," Bosse said.

Bosse is running in the Second Congressional District against state Sen. Bob Clegg (R-Hudson), Jennifer Horn (R-Nashua) and Jim Steiner (R-Concord).
