Prescott officially begins campaign

Former state Sen. Russell Prescott (R-Kingston) has officially launched his campaign for Executive Council.

Prescott began his campaign with a fundraiser at Seabrook's Brown's Lobster Pound.

"I was so thrilled to have such a great crowd gather in support of my candidacy. My message of what's good for New Hampshire is saying no to more spending and taxes is resonating with voters," Prescott said in a statement. "As I travel throughout the district and talk to people who are struggling with high fuel and food prices, the last thing they want is higher taxes. I have always fought against higher taxes and that's exactly what I'll do on the Executive Council."

Prescott also launched his website: http://www.russellprescott.com/

He is running for the Executive Council against current Councilor Bev Hollingworth (D-Hampton).
