Fuller Clark in political spotlight this weekend

This weekend state Sen. Martha Fuller Clark (D-Portsmouth) will be one of 30 people who could determine Sen. Hillary Clinton's (D-NY) fate.

Fuller Clark is a member of the Democratic National Committee Rules Committee that will meet this weekend to determine if the delegates from Florida and Michigan should be seated at the national convention.  The two states were stripped of their delegates because they voted before the date purposed by the DNC.

"I am very surprised we are at this point," Fuller Clark told The Portsmouth Herald.

Fuller Clark said she should would ask a Clinton supporter whether or not it whether or not the primaries were representative of the voters.

"How can you say that these primaries were actually a fair and representative reflection of the voters?," she said.

Fuller Clark is one of eight on the committee who support Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.).
