Filing day round-up

Today was the first day candidates could file for state office.

Here is a collection of tidbits and photos:

-Former New Hampshire Attorney General Peter Heed (R-Westmoreland) is running for the Cheshire County Attorney seat.

-Hudson resident Tom Alciere has decided to primary U.S. Sen. John Sununu (R-Waterville Valley).

-Geoff Michael (R-Merrimack) will run in the Republican primary in the First Congressional District.

-James W. Danforth (R-Andover) will run for Peter Burling's senate seat.

-John Shea (D-Nelson) will run for re-election to the Executive Council.
