Today in the U.S. Senate race

Editors note: This is a daily summary of news about the U.S. Senate race between U.S. Sen. John Sununu (R-Waterville Valley) and former Gov. Jeanne Shaheen (D-Madbury).

Yesterday, Kathy Sullivan pens an op-ed piece for The Huffington Post and Sununu is targeted by the AMA.

Writing on The Huffington Post Sullivan says that Republicans are hiding behind Americans for Job Security.

The American Medical Association will begin airing ads against Sununu for his vote to cut Medicare reimbursements to doctors.

Today is also the 69th birthday of Sununu's father, John Sununu, former chief-of-staff to President George H.W. Bush.
