Obama beefs-up N.H. communications staff

U.S. Sen. Barack Obama's (D-Ill.) presidential campaign has announced additions to their New Hampshire communications team.

Sandra Abrevaya will be the New Hampshire communications director for the Obama campaign, while Larkin Barker has been hired to be press secretary for the "Campaign for Change" outreach effort. According to a campaign press release, Campaign for Change will "harness the enthusiasm of Obama's grassroots-level supporters and organize them in communities across New Hampshire as they work for Democratic candidates up and down the ticket."

Prior to joining Obama's campaign Abrevaya was Deputy Communications Director for U.S. Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) and Barker was press secretary for Rhode Island Lt. Gov. Elizabeth Roberts.
