Barr to visit Manchester

Libertarian presidential candidate Bob Barr is scheduled to visit Manchester on July 22.

Barr, a former U.S. Rep. from Georgia, will visit Manchester's Murphy's Taproom at 8:00pm, The Concord Monitor's Lauren Dorgan is reporting.

This is Barr's first visit to the Granite State and he will be in the state the same day has U.S. Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.)

To appear on the November ballot Barr must collect 3,000 signatures but Barr might not appear on the ballot because the Libertarian Party collected signatures for George Phillies, not Barr.
