Campaign for Change, Obama campaign hires more staffers

The Obama campaign and Campaign for Change has announced they are beefing-up their campaign operations in the Granite State.

Mitchell Kent will be Obama's deputy state director and policy director and Brian Wallach has been hired to be the political director. Kent ran Obama's get-out-the-vote efforts in Indiana, Minnesota and Ohio. During the New Hampshire primary, Wallach was Obama's deputy political director.

The Campaign for Change has brought on a former Clinton staffer to be general election director. Tracey Lewis was Clinton's New Hampshire field director.

Katina Tsongas has also been hired to be field director for the grassroots project. Tsongas was Obama's regional field director during the primary. Also coming on board is Matt Kennedy, constituency vote director; Sally Cluthe, director of scheduling and Samir Randolph will be director of operations.

The Campaign for Change is part of the campaign efforts of the New Hampshire Democratic Party and aimed at building grassroots support for Barack Obama.
