State Rep. Betty Hall needs another 230 signatures to gain access to the New Hampshire ballot.

Hall, of Hollis, is running as an independent for the state senate in District 12 and has until August 6th to hand-in 750 signatures.

Hall's campaign has e-mailed supporters requesting their help in gaining more signatures.

"Coming down to the wire we have submitted for verification 330 nomination papers. We will submit today 240 more. That leaves us with 230 more to collect to reach 750," wrote the campaign. "We need to collect an additional 100 to assure all we collect come from within the district. The grassroots can help by downloading the forms, signing, and mailing them to us or us to sort and submit."

Hall is famous for introducing legislation that would impeach President Bush and Vice-President Dick Cheney. She also promoted the issue at the New Hampshire Democratic Convention in May.

Paul LaFlamme (R-Nashua) and Peggy Gilmour (D-Hollis) are also running for the open seat. State Sen. David Gottesman (D-Nashua) decided not to run for re-election earlier this year.
