Group airs ad against Shaheen

A conservative grassroots group has begun airing a radio ad against former Gov. Jeanne Shaheen (D-Madbury).

The ad sponsored by the New Hampshire chapter of Americans for Prosperity criticizes Shaheen's energy plan.

"New Hampshire needs solutions urgently. But... according to the Union Leader... when it comes to reducing the price of oil Jeanne Shaheen ‘simply has no idea what she is talking about,'" the ad states.

The ad is part of a national effort that includes ad buys in North Carolina and Colorado.

"We are encouraging our members, and anyone who is concerned about high gas prices, to contact Jeanne Shaheen and encourage her to exchange proven-failed policies for a plan that would lower energy prices by expanding domestic production," New Hampshire Director Corey Lewandowski said in a statement.
