Horn touts Coburn’s endorsement

Former gubernatorial candidate Jim Coburn (R-Windham) has endorsed congressional candidate Jennifer Horn (R-Nashua).

Coburn will serve as a campaign co-chair and advisor to the Horn campaign.

"This election is about who can beat Paul Hodes and Jennifer is the right candidate to take Paul Hodes to task for his failures in Congress," Coburn said in a press release. "We need a Congresswoman who understands that government is too big, taxes are too high, and high energy costs are hurting folks across the Second District."

Horn said that Coburn would be a "great asset" to her campaign.

"Jim Coburn is a man of strong character and integrity.  I am honored to have his support in my campaign to beat Paul Hodes.  Jim spent many months traveling around New Hampshire listening to the concerns of voters and will be a great asset on my team.  I look forward to campaigning with Jim during the closing days of the primary and the general election."

In 2006 Coburn suffered the worst defeat in New Hampshire history when he lost to Gov. John Lynch (D-Hopkinton).
