Lasky gearing-up for fall campaign

DENVER-- State Rep. Bette Lasky has begun to put together the foundations for her fall campaign.

The Nashua Democrat is running for the state senate in district 13 against Sandra Ziehm (R-Nashua).

"I think I've been working hard to get the message out after the primary," Lasky said. She will begin to campaign door-to-door and attend political events in the Nashua area after the Sept. 9  state primary.

Lasky added that she was proud of gaining 150 contributors to her campaign.

"I'm gratified by the reception that I have been receiving."

One of Lasky's campaign messages will be to help people make sure they are aware that the state will be offering fuel assistance for rising home fuel prices.

"Everything is just not going that far," Lasky said. "Even if you work it's difficult to get ends meet."

Lasky is in Denver as a delegate for U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton.
