Day 4: Dems prepare for Invesco

DENVER--New Hampshire Democrats wasted no time this morning preparing for U.S. Sen. Barack Obama's speech at Invesco field.

Delegates were busy coordinating schedules, meeting spots and state Sen. Peter Burling (D-Cornish) and Martin Gross was going to buy hats and sunscreen for delegates.

"This is the reason why people came," David Scannell, New Hampshire Democratic Party executive director, said. "A lot of people are going to see history be made."

Scannell said the party has done everything it can to give delegates, and guests, the appropriate tickets but there are factors the party has no control over.

"It's going to be an adventure for us. Since we'll be in the middle of a football field we're telling people to bring a hat and sunscreen."
